Lying in bed
after returning from a meeting about the formation of Inner City Posse, Joe Bruce (Violent J) had the vision of the Dark Carnival.
He felt like there was someone else there with him. He sensed trouble was rising, but had no reason not to relax. Looking
through the bedroom door out into the dark hallway, Joe expected to see something, since the strange feeling seemed to be
coming from there. Suddenly a dark shadow walked into view. Scared to death, Joe believes he then passed out, and awoke with
his mind at a carnival. The
carnival was huge, larger than life. Rollercoaster tracks disappeared into the clouds, and the entire carnival surrounded
him. Not ten feet away from him, stood a clown Joe had dreamed about before, but this time it was all too real. The clown
had white and black clown makeup, a blue and pink jester's hat, a clown suit with big clown shoes and white gloves. He held
a giant deck of playing cards in his left hand. Each one was a joker's card, like in a normal deck of cards. He began dropping
them one at a time to the ground while staring at Joe. As each card dropped, Joe was overcome with dread, and the feeling
intensified as the clown ran out of cards. The clown was talking to Joe, but he couldn't hear words, only feel them. Just
before the clown dropped the last card, Joe was shooting upward. He was so high above everything he could see the carnival
was headed to a town. Everything then faded to blackness, and all Joe could hear were screams and sounds of chaos, people
dying and bizarre laughter getting louder and louder. Joe was then awaken when his radio suddenly was cranked up to
volume 10. The
Dark Carnival is not a dream. It is a message that is real and something is coming to consume all those whose souls are not
pure. Time will consume us all, whether by humanity as a whole, or one by one. ICP reaches out to people who are in need of
help, people whose souls are being corrupted beyond return from the evils of this world. Although their music has a violent
and extreme outward appearance, it has the power to attract and draw in people who are lost from God. They hear its
deeper, truer purpose: that you should strive to enter Shangri-La (Heaven) and not become lost in Hell's Pit. Here's
what happens to those who were warned. After death, your soul will rise out of your body. You will see The Dark Carnival's
parade of wagons rolling towards you. It will be lead by the 6 Joker's Card faces on giant flags, with a parade of ghosts
and wagons following them. They're not with God and not with the Devil. They are about to take you to one of them. You're
about to face judgment. The
Dark Carnival is a neutral group of ghosts, existing between heaven and hell. Its warnings throughout life open your eyes
and show you what you are. They let you decide whether or not you feel the need to make a change in yourself. Once you die,
they gladly take you to heaven or hell, which ever you deserve. The Carnival's wagons take the good people, who heeded its
warnings and changed their ways, to Shangri-La (heaven). It also carries evil souls to the blazing inferno of hell. The wagons
make the wicked souls enter carnival exhibits. It takes them on a ride that shows them all of their mistakes. Insane Clown
Posse explained this through their music. Everybody in the world will hear the words before they die. It will reach us all.
Whether or not you act upon it is up to you.
